Our mission is three fold; firstly, to raise awareness about the crisis in Venezuela and bring attention to the true severity of the problems Venezuelans face in their everyday lives. Secondly, is to use fundraising and donations to provide direct humanitarian assistance to Venezuelans who lack basic necessities via international and local aid distribution groups. This includes food, medicine, clothing, school supplies, and other highly needed goods. Lastly, we attempt to partner with local and international human rights advocates to protect basic human rights, such as the right to free elections, access to a fair trial and legal defense, etc. It is through these that we hope to create long term economic and political reform. Overall, The Venezuela Project’s intent is to do all we can to mitigate the suffering felt by Venezuelan’s today. What We Do The Venezuela Project uses a variety of fundraising methods to provide highly needed aid to as many people as possible whilst simultaneously pursuing long term governmental reform that can help solve the root cause of the crisis.
